Amb. Sondang Anggraini currently serves as the Ambassador/Deputy Permanent Representative in Charge of the World Trade Organization (WTO) issues of Indonesian Mission in Geneva, Switzerland. She started her professional career as the Young Researcher in Pan ASIA Consultant in 1985. In 1986, she firstly joined the Ministry of Trade Republic of Indonesia as the Researcher.
During her services in the Ministry of Trade Republic of Indonesia, she has been working with various issues span from International Trade Cooperation, Bilateral Cooperation, Anti Dumping, to Multilateral Trade. In 2001, she was appointed as the Commercial Counselor at Mission of Republic of Indonesia to European Union in Brussels, Belgium.
Her works and experiences in services-related sectors were exposed when she was appointed as the Director for Trade in Services Negotiation, the Ministry of Trade Republic of Indonesia, in September 2010. From 2011 to 2012, she was trusted to be the Chair of Coordinating Committee on Services ASEAN. She then continued her dedication in services sectors when she played the strategic role as the APEC Group of Services Convener from 2012 to 2014. In July 2014, the Minister of Trade Republic of Indonesia assigned her as the Special Advisor.
Amb. Sondang Anggraini obtained her Bachelor degree in Agriculture Engineering from Bogor Agriculture University (1984) and Master degree in International Relations from the International University of Japan (1996).
