Wahyuni Bahar is a founder of Bahar Law Firm, which focused on providing legal services in corporate laws. He currently acts as a partner in Infrastructure & Transportation Practice Group. For more than 22 years, he has been entrusted as a responsible attorney in handling complex and high-profile transactions. He has handled various transportation and infrastructure projects involving the tender process, preparation and negotiation of contractual arrangements between various principals, procurement and financing of power plant, water supply, toll roads, as well as privatization of major airports.
Wahyuni obtained Master of Law degree from McGill University, Montreal, Canada, and completed a Postgraduate Diploma Program in Law at Institute of Social Studies, The Hague, the Netherlands. Before that, he studied Law at Padjadjaran University (Bandung) and Mathematic at Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). He involves in many professional association such as Indonesian Air Law Society (IALS), the Indonesian Employers Association’s National Executive Board (DPN-APINDO), Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), Centre for Finance, Investment and Securities’ Law (CFISEL), Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA), and International Bar Association (IBA) amongst others.
He was granted various awards and recognitions such as “Leading Lawyers from IFLR1000 (2014)”, “Leading Individuals in Capital Markets, Merger and Acquisition (M&A) from Chambers Asia (2014)”, “Leading Lawyers in Capital Market from The Asianlaw Profile (2015)”, and “Leading Individuals in Capital Markets, Corporate and M&A, Projects & Energy, Restructuring & Insolvency from The Asia Pacific Legal 500 (2015)”.
Prior to founding Bahar Law Firm, the Registered Advocate of Indonesian Advocate Association (PERADI) was also a lecturer at Padjadjaran University (Bandung) and Trisakti University (Jakarta) on various subjects such as Air and Space Law, Telecommunications Law, and International Law.
